Dual Insulation
The term dual insulation is used where equipment or piping are operated under dual utility such as hot and cold then dual temperature insulation shall be provided. Providing insulation for piping and equipment operates normally at a cold temperature below 10 degrees Celcius but which are subject to high temperatures above 60 degrees Celcius during regeneration, then dual insulation shall be applied.

Application Method:
Cleaning Rust and dust and other foreign particles with the help of a wire brush.
One coat of anticorrosive paint over the pipe and surface area.
Application of hot service material with one side checker wire mesh.
Application of vapour barrier over the mattress.
Fixing Cold Service Material with bitumen and sealing joints properly.
Jacketing with aluminium sheet proper grooved at the edge of the sheet for waterproofing and for reinforcement with self-tapping sheet metal screw.
